- Coming from Logan International Airport:
- Follow directions to Airport Exit towards I-90 West (Ted Williams Tunnel)
- Continue through tolls and Ted Williams Tunnel
- Take Exit 24-25 towards I93 North/South Boston
- Keep right at fork in ramp, moving quickly to the left lane
- At the lights, turn left onto Congress Street
- Continue straight and the building is located just after the 4th set of lights across the bridge at the corner of
- Congress Street and Dorchester Avenue (across from South Station)
Coming from 93 South or Route 1 South over the Central Artery, southbound:
- Take the I-93 South/US-1 South towards Boston/Cape Cod to Exit 23 “Purchase Street/South Station”
- At top of ramp, continue straight on Purchase Street
- At the 3rd set of lights, turn left onto Summer Street
- The building is located at the corner of Summer Street and Atlantic Avenue, across from South Station
Coming from the Southeast Expressway, northbound:
- Take Interstate 93 North (US-1N)
- Take Exit 20 “Logan Airport/Worcester/S. Station”
- Take South Station ramp. Proceed to the second set of lights
- Turn right onto Kneeland Street, continue to the end and take a left onto Atlantic Avenue. Go straight on Atlantic Avenue, and take right onto Congress Street at the 3rd set of lights
- The building is located at the corner of Summer Street and Atlantic Avenue, across from South Station
Coming from the Massachusetts Turnpike, eastbound:
- Take I-90 East (Massachusetts Turnpike)
- Take Exit 24A “South Station”
- At end of ramp, continue straight on Atlantic Avenue, and take right onto Summer Street at the 3rd set of lights
- The building is located at the corner of Summer Street and Atlantic Avenue, across from South Station
Public Transportation
Subway (MBTA)
The Federal Reserve Bank is accessible by the MBTA Red Line. Take
the Red Line to the South Station stop. The Bank is the tall silver
building located at the corner of Summer Street and Atlantic Avenue
Commuter Rail
The Federal Reserve Bank is also accessible by various commuter
rail lines.
Coming into South Station:
South Station is located directly across the street from the Federal
Reserve Bank of Boston. South Station has service for the following
lines:
- The Attleboro/Stoughton Line
- The Fairmont Line
- The Framingham/Worcester Line
- The Franklin Line
- The Middleborough/Lakeville Line
- The Needham Line
- The Plymouth/Kingston Line
Coming into North Station:
From North Station take the inbound MBTA Green Line train to Park
Street, switch to the Red Line and get off at the South Station
stop. North Station has service for the following lines:
- The Fitchburg Line
- The Haverhill/Reading Line
- The Lowell Line
- The Newburyport/Rockport Line

Parking Options
- Continue down Summer Street and go straight through lights at
the intersection of Summer Street and Dorchester Avenue; at the
next set of lights take a right onto Melcher Street; then take
a right onto Necco Street. The second building on your left is
an enclosed parking garage. Just a ten-minute walk to the Bank.
- Continue down Summer Street and at the set of lights take a
left onto Dorchester Avenue; at the next intersection take a left
onto Congress Street. The parking lot is on the right across the
intersection. Less than a five minute walk to the Bank.
- Parking garage is located above the Greyhound bus station (at
South Station) on Atlantic Avenue. Entrance to garage is on Kneeland
Street.
- Very limited on-street metered parking is also available.
