This topical exhibit presents an overview of electricity use in the United States and the different source fuels used to produce it since 1900. The theme dovetails with the New England Economic Adventure's new interactive investment game on green energy, and serves to provide historical information and context. This exhibit seeks to inform visitors and spark discussion about the fuels that are in use today to produce electricity, why they have changed over the past one hundred years, and of some of the technological advances in clean energies that are in the works at local universities.
