The New England Economic Adventure helps
students understand economic growth and why we enjoy higher living
standards today than did earlier generations. Using examples from
New England’s past, it explains how growth occurs. The target
audience is middle and secondary school students. Teachers can
- arrange a class visit to the Economic Adventure at the Boston
Fed,
- make use of the wealth of material available on this web site,
or
- do both.
For an overview of New England’s economic history, see the
Rising Standards Gazette,
which provides perspective on the evolution of New England’s
economy from 1600 to the present. |
