Artists for Humanity: voice/vision/virtuosity
September 2008-January 2009
Voice/vision/virtuosity is a multimedia exhibit by the young talent of Artists for Humanity—a unique program that aims to bridge economic, racial, and social divisions by helping Boston’s underserved youth develop self-sufficiency through paid employment in the arts. The show includes several large abstract paintings, photographs of flowering trees presented as stylized diptychs, and two sculptures created from shredded money from the Bank demonstrating creative recycling.
