Framing the Past
Framing the Past features works from the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's Archives and Fine Arts Collection. Through photographs and memorabilia, this exhibit chronicles not only changes in the Bank's location, but also workplace and neighborhood changes. The exhibit includes signature works that formed the core of the original art collection purchased for the Bank's current building at 600 Atlantic Avenue. Also on view (shown below) are the photographs made from glass-plate negatives that were taken during the construction of the Bank's 1922 building at 30 Pearl Street.
